I am a Sport and Exercise Medicine registrar who studied medicine at the University of Sydney and completed General Practice training in 2012. I worked as a GP in the Blue Mountains before deciding to specialise further in Sport and Exercise Medicine. Before relocating to Newcastle, my family and I lived in Hamilton, New Zealand, for five years. I worked at a sports clinic that cared for various sports teams, including the Hautapu Premier Rugby Team.
My professional experiences include being the team doctor for the Australian Dolphins at the Para Pan Pacific Championships in 2018 and the World Short Course in Budapest in 2024. I am interested in dance medicine and am currently the medical doctor for Bangarra Dance Theatre, based in Walsh Bay, Sydney. On the weekends, I provide event coverage for A-League Women’s matches.
As an individual passionate about implementing exercise as medicine, I enjoy helping all individuals, including those with chronic health conditions and injuries, maintain healthy, active lifestyles.
